PhycoSci AM: protection!
A unique synergy in which the effectiveness of phycocyanin, extracted from Xelliss's A3Nat spirulina, is combined with natural vitamin C from Acerola and natural lime flavor.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin vital for good health. It is necessary to obtain vitamin C either by consuming foods containing it or by taking dietary supplements, since it cannot be produced by the body.
The vitamin C selected for PhycoSci AM comes 100% from Acerola.
A unique extraction method
PhycoSci AM is produced from Xelliss's high-quality A3Nat spirulina, which is naturally very rich in phycocyanin.
Xelliss carries out the extraction of fresh or freeze-dried spirulina, grown according to its own highly efficient method. This cold process does not use any solvent: the extraction is carried out with water and makes it possible to solubilise the spirulina’s soluble active ingredients, including phycocyanin, one of the essential active nutrients.
The rich extract produced in this way is separated from the microalgae and then cold-dried by lyophilisation – or freeze-drying, which preserves the active ingredients in their native state.
Thanks to A3Nat spirulina and the method developed, PhycoSci AM is more concentrated in active ingredients. As a result of advances made, the quantity of active ingredients is three times higher, for a reduced daily dose (8 ml versus 16 ml for the first generation).
Xelliss has also reworked the formula to make it of an even high quality. Xelliss uses plant extracts richer in active ingredients and natural flavors. Xelliss has therefore improved the sensory quality. As a result of the much higher active ingredient content, Xelliss has been able to reduce the daily dose volume and, subsequently, lower the daily consumption of glycerol.

The label obtained by Xelliss takes into account the requirements described in the standard NF V94-00 relating to the development and manufacture of dietary supplements and other dietary stuffs intended for athletes, free from substances prohibited by the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport , introduced into French law by the combined effect of Act No. 2007-129 of 31 January 2007, authorizing its ratification, and ratified by Decree No. 2007- 503 of 2 April 2007 .
The quality of PhycoSci AM is therefore guaranteed - from the cultivation of A3Nat spirulina through to bottling for consumption by athletes - not to contain or have been in contact with substances prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
